Vence

Protected of the wind by the Baous (mountains on its back), this little town has a very nice climat.
Very interesting old town with its medieval enclosure, shady little places, fontains.
An impressive cathedral (XIth), the Matisse chapel (entirely conceived and decorated by the famous painter).
In the heights of Vence stands the beautiful village of Saint Jeannet, a start for a lot of walks (to the Baous for example). On the Gaude's Baou, an impressive millenium oak can be seen.
